1- Rights of Medical Care:
- Receive a comprehensive care given without discrimination by competent staff that reflects consideration of your personal values as per Ministry of Health laws and regulations.
- Have appropriate assessment and management.
- Participate in decisions involving your healthcare.
- Refuse to receive treatment or medications.
- Sending the consent and pre/post instructions for the required treatment that the patient recorded the appointment for before the appointment date, so the patient will be aware about the details of the treatment.
- Sign the necessary informed consent prior to the start of any procedure or treatment, or both, and any high-risk procedure, in addition to full consent explanation by the health care.
- Right to seek second opinion.
- Following up your situation by the nurse in case of some critical situation or treatments.
- In case there was a medical emergency that is beyond the staff nurse capability and authority to deal with, the medical director (the doctor) is obligated to show up and assess, deal, and treat the condition accordingly.
2- Rights of Information:
- know the center Mission, Vision and Center’s policies that are related to the patients.
- Know the name of the consultant and health care professionals assigned to patient care.
- To be provided with clear information about your condition, treatment plan and treatment choices to allow you to make informed decisions for consent or refusal of treatment; such information should include complications, risks, benefits, and potential outcomes
- To receive information about the cost of treatment and services needed
- Raise any complaint/suggestion about your care through the center’s official channels (Tel: 17441745, or through the suggestion and complaint link) You should receive a response from the official concerned person as soon as possible.
- To know the alternative treatments inside the center for your condition.
- Follow treatment instructions as recommended and ask questions if they are not fully understood
- Report any complications in your health (related to the health issue reported in your visit) including problems with your current treatment plan.
3- Rights of Confidentiality and Privacy:
- Protect your privacy while receiving services and treatment.
- Exposing only the parts of your body that need to be exposed as per the treatment requirements.
- Have all information, records pertaining to your medical care treated as confidential.
- Have your medical record confidential, protected from loss or misuse and read only by the concerned team involved in your care.
4- Safety and Security Rights:
- The patient will be visiting a safe environment to do the required treatment, we mean safe in different aspects as follows:
- Clean environment since we are following NHRA rules in sanitizing and cleaning the place as required, further we are contracting several companies for collecting the medical waste and for cleaning the facility.
- Proper secure place, where security service is available for any critical situation or attack.
- To be protected from physical, verbal or psychological assault.
Patients and family responsibilities:
- deal with the center staff and other patients in a decent manner and respect their privacy.
- You are responsible to follow and respect the Center’s rules and regulations such as:
- Not to bring food from outside.
- To follow safety and security instructions including – no smoking
- avoid using mobile phones and cameras inside the clinics.
In addition to the instructions sent to the patient prior to the appointment date.
- Be on time for your appointment; or reschedule / cancel appointments in advance so that another patient can visit the center to do the required treatment, when possible.
- provide accurate and complete information about present and past illnesses, medication history and any change in your health.
- You are responsible for understanding your health problems before giving any consent for treatment.
- follow the instructions and medical orders of your treating team and to inform the team if you are unable to follow or not willing to follow the treatment plan.
- You are responsible for the consequences of refusing the treatment including medications.
- Raise any Complaints or observation that can enhance the center.
